Terms & Conditions

Version 1 · Effective 16 May 2026

⚠️ This is placeholder wording pending legal review. It is written to cover the required disclosures in plain language, not as final legal text.

1. About LetsGo

LetsGo is a travel-planning service. It collects your flights, hotels, rentals, and other bookings into a shared itinerary, imports booking confirmations you forward to it, and lets you share trips with family and travel companions.

2. Your account

You sign in with a magic email link or with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and Google account secure, and for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

Only upload or forward content you have the right to use. Do not abuse the import pipeline — for example by sending content that is not a genuine travel booking, or by attempting to overload or disrupt the service.

4. Data capture for service improvement

When you import a booking — by forwarding an email or uploading a PDF — LetsGo processes the raw text of that document to extract your itinerary. To develop and improve the systems that do this parsing, LetsGo also retains a copy of imported document text, and this applies to all users.

Before that copy is retained, personal details are removed: names, confirmation and booking numbers, ticket numbers, postal addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, loyalty and frequent-flyer numbers, and similar identifying values are replaced with synthetic, non-identifiable substitutes of the same general shape. The retained text is used only to build, test, and improve LetsGo's parsing logic. It is not used to identify you and is not sold.

5. Third-party processors

To run the service, LetsGo shares limited data with:

  • Anthropic — imported document text is sent to its AI for parsing.
  • Resend — delivers sign-in and notification email and receives forwarded import email.
  • S3-compatible storage — stores uploaded files such as booking PDFs.
  • MapTiler / Google — provide maps and location features.
  • TripIt — optional, only if you connect a TripIt account to import trips.
  • Flight-status providers — optional, to show live flight updates.

6. Intellectual property

The LetsGo service, its design, and its software are owned by its operator. Content you add remains yours; you grant LetsGo the permission needed to store, process, and display it to operate the service for you.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

LetsGo is provided "as is". Imported and parsed itinerary data may contain errors — always check critical details against your original booking. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetsGo's operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your settings. When you do, your trips and personal data are deleted. Obfuscated, non-identifiable document text already contributed to the parsing corpus (see §4) may be retained, because it no longer identifies you.

9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change. When they change materially, you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you use LetsGo. Continued use after accepting constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction for these Terms will be stated here following legal review. [To be completed.]

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to the LetsGo operator. [Contact address to be completed.]
